      science is… everywhere.

I love science because it really is all around us. From the ground we walk on, to the sky and starts above us, from what we eat, to the clothes we wear and the shampoo we use. Science is all about understanding the world around us. Anyone can be a scientist, and they don’t have to do A levels or a university degree to do it, or be interested in it. Gardeners, plumbers and chefs use science every day, even if they don’t realise it

      Science is… surprising.

Imagine you have two atoms of hydrogen, which will react to almost anything if heated, and an atom of oxygen, which fuels the flames of a fire. Put them together and what do you have? Water, a fire extinguisher!

      Science is….changing
My favorite thing about science is that we are always finding out new things, updating theories and changing our opinions and thoughts on so many subjects. i like that fact that there is always new information being found or developed to help us and enable our understanding of the world and how we are a part of it!

      science is…challenging.

My field of science, psychology, challenges me to never make assumptions about what people think, feel or do. It challenges me to keep on asking questions and finding out more. Through my work I help other people challenge themselves in sports
