• Question: If a person had half a heart or part of there heart missing, however was still coping just has difficulty with breathing, and gets over tired the majority of the time and is on a large number of pills. Heart transplants are avalible if they come to the decision they want one. However with a heart transplant its extremely risky and either the heart may be rejected by there body or if it isnt, they'll only have a limited amount of time left. Should they cary on living the way they are at the moment or get the heart transplant?

That’s a very complex question and the answer depends on both the patient and the doctor. Like most medical decisions, they will need to weigh up the risks and the benefits (with the risks being influenced by things like weight, smoking, general health) and then take a calculated risk.
