• Question: if your in a car and travelling at the speed of light, what happens if you turn your headlights on?

      I think the answer to this question is that you would not be able to turn the headlights on, because there would be no headlights, or car, or you, if you tried to travel at the speed of light (you’d need an infinite amount of energy to reach light speed, and that is going to drain your car’s battery somewhat!). If, however, you were travelling at 99.99999% of the speed of light, to you the headlights would shine as normal, because the speed of light is the same for all observers. I think 😛

      OK I am going to be a scientist here 🙂

      What speed are you talking about ? as we can make light travel at different speeds !

      Take a glass of water and look through it, put a pencil into the water……what happens ?

      Now tell me why that happens 🙂

      Now turn your headlights on !
