Hmm, I know a lot about what materials engines are made of, being a materials sicnetist and all that, but I know very little about the types of engines!
I think my dream car would be an MG Midget, but I’d quite happily settle for a fiat 500 or a VW Golf! I like sports cars because their cool, and I like little cars because they’re cute… typical girl!
Well, I dont own a car any more as I dont need one enough to own one – but i do hire cars when I need one, and that means I get to drive better cars than I could afford to own.
My dream car that I would like to own is a classic car – an Alpha Romeo Spider. Nothing that great about it probaby, I just really like the style. In London you don’t really ever get the chance to open up the throttle though.
Jenni can still post? Brilliant, thought we’d lost her there! I’d have to say that my favourite ever car is here: http://drmarkburnley.wordpress.com/2011/06/22/some-cars/ although I’d never want one: apart from the fact you can’t drive it on the road, it is ridiculously inefficient and a FIAT 500 would definitely be better from an economy point of view.
I think like all men of a certain age, this has to be my favorite car; http://www.flickr.com/photos/f1rstborn/757609629/
As for the engine, i’m not sure, although from the problems that occured in BTTF 3, i know it’s only the flux-capacitor and time circuits that are run by the ‘Mr Fusion’ centre on the back, the rest of the car runs on petrol with a standard engine!! (Geek alert!!)
My favorite car has got be be a Reanult Fuego Turbo. It was built from 1980 – 1992, the designer was Robert Opron and the engine came in many different sizes. 1.4 L I4
1.6 L I4
1.6 L turbocharged I4
2.0 L I4
2.1 L turbodiesel I4
2.2 L I4

The 2.0 litre turbo was probably the best.
