• Question: What is the easiest way to learn the whole periodic table?

      I like using mnemonics to remember long lists of things and I think this could work well with the periodic table. What you do is to take the first letters of each word you want to remember and make a new sentence or phrase using those letters.

      So, try to make a sentence (that YOU will remember) using the first two rows in the periodic table

      H, He, Li, Be, B, C, N, O, F, Ne

      I would probably do this
      Hi, Helen Likes Better Burritos Consistently Not Old Furry Nectarines

      See what you come up with, and how many you can remember at once.
