• Question: what was the first sport invented?

      I would imagine long distance running from when we were hunter-gatherers and had to travel long distances hunting prey for food. Although I think just staying alive was important then, not getting a podium place

      I’d guess the javelin, shot-putt or something similar, but there is no evidence to support this!

      No idea but I’ll go with wrestelling – we’re descended from animals and animals westle in their spare time to work out who’s strongest and who should be boss. The costumes didn’t come along until later though…

      I’m going to go for some form of wrestling! Probably without all the baby oil and lyrca that is involved today, but as a form of competition to impress the female cave women!!
