• Question: Why are trees tall?

      They grow up to reach the sunlight. Did you know that for most trees, their root structure is as big as the rest of the tree above ground?!

      I don’t know why some trees grow taller than others – like a giant redwood. But I do know that if you prune a sapling tree when it is growing, you can make it into a bonsai tree, which is really small.
